TYRE VULCANISING .

We have a dedicated in-house team who are fully qualified in tyre vulcanising, having been trained by Rema Tip Top in Germany.

We have a highly spcialised vulcanising equipment to cater for all types and sizes of tyres. We utilise the very latest vulcanising technology, inclusing and Thermopress EM 1, an Autoclave and an OTR Vulcan V-21.

We can repair: Earthmover, Tractor, Truck, Telescopic Handler, Dumper, Skid Steer, 4x4, Can, and Car tyres.

THE PROCESS EXPLAINED

Tyre vulcanising is a highly technical process. Hot vulcanisation involves preparing and heating a tyre to carry out major and minor repairs. Damage that extends to the bead or belt must be repaired by means of hot vulcanisation.

Tyres are repaired by hot vulcanisation in an autoclave machine. Air is circulated and combined with high pressure and heat, which guarantees a high quality of repair (as this process does not distort the tyre).

The vulcanisation process allows the rubber to 'flow' during curing, in both the plug (hole) area and between the patch and inner liner of the casing. This forms a dense sealed repair that will not leak or fail.
